ENCORE (In Person, Outside) DIY Gua Sha with Esthetician Catherine Richardson Wright

Hi lovelies! You may have heard of gua sha recently. It's a beauty trend that's become very popular in clean beauty circles and with those who love working with crystals. Gua sha is a traditional Chinese medicinal practice using a smooth stone and facial oil on your skin to move lymphatic fluid (part of our body's immune system). The daily ritual helps to reduce puffiness, dark under eye circles, and brighten the undertone of your complexion. There's even a stone tool method to help release fine lines and soften deep wrinkles. And, the best part is the stone is rainbow fluorite! Just the thing we need most in our reality right now.

Here is a before and after of my 15 minute morning gua sha routine. It wasn't a dramatic result day for me but the gua sha did help to reduce puffiness around my jowls and brow bone. It also helped to take the gray away from my complexion. Fresh lymph is bright and full of life. Stagnant lymph can give a gray or dull appearance to the skin. - Catherine
