Join Artist and Jewellery Designer, Bonnie Garaventi, and Spiritual Consultant and Crystal Master, Kristin Bredimus, for a day of gemstone mala making and goddess energy work.
Attune to the energies of the Goddesses of Avalon
Create your own mala to support meditation, mantra chanting and energy work
Awaken your inner goddess
Traditionally a mala—which means “garland”—has 108 beads strung together and one “guru bead,” which is larger than the rest. The guru bead is used as a place marker for the fingers to feel for the end or the beginning of the necklace for meditation or mantra chanting. In this hands-on workshop, participants will create their own mala then journey to attune it to one of the energies of the Goddesses of Avalon.
Make your own mala:
• Choose your gemstone beads.
• String the beads in a community.
• Let the creative process be its own mindful experience.
• Bless your mala with an intention.
Participants will have a choice of the following types of crystal sets*:
Quartz with inclusion
*Limited numbers per option. Mix and matching is not an option unless coordinated amongst participants.
Like everyone else I am many things. A daughter. Sister. Mother. Wife. Friend. Artist. Seeker. I have long been drawn to creating beautiful, functional, wearable art from natural elements. Much of my inspiration comes from the vibrations of the earth. Vibrations I feel in my bones. I believe we are all called by the vibrations that will serve us to our highest good, and that we are doubly blessed if we listen. In this workshop I would love to help you create a mala necklace with the elemental vibrations that are calling you.
